Beyond Smelling Flowers & Blowing Out Candles to Playfully Manage Anger Live in Reno April 29, 2025 6 pm to 9:15 pm
Let’s go beyond teaching simple breathing techniques to regulate and manage anger! Utilizing an Adlerian play therapy framework, we will identify, assess, and teach the basic components of anger. Learn to develop play therapy techniques that help children understand and cope with their anger in a socially acceptable, productive manner.
Documenting Play: Treatment Planning and Record-keeping in Play Therapy

9 am to 12:15 p.m.
As a play therapist, it is necessary to have knowledge of writing treatment plans and progress notes for accurate documentation. Using diagnostic criteria and treatment planning models, participants will be able to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of the child.
